Pvt. U.S. Army, {RA16301803}, Korean War-Pvt. Beel was killed in action by small arms fire on 7-25-1950 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with Co. F of the 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph G. Beel of Crawford County, Hutsonville, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal with One Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation.
