Mrs. Sarah Jane Delano, mother of Silas Delano, died at his home in this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) on Wednesday evening at the ripe old age of ninety years and eleven days. Mrs. Delano was a native of the state of Maine, and came west in an early day. For a number of years past she has been cared for at the home of her son. Funeral service was held Friday morning at the home, conducted by Rev. Smith, and the burial was in the Mentor Cemetery.
