Geneva M. (Winnett) Cantonwine was the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Osborn) Winnett and the wife of David Milton Cantonwine. David was the son of Milton and Melba Azula (Neer) Cantonwine and grandson of Robert M. & Melissa A. (Sharpe/Sharp) Cantonwine.

Geneva Marie Cantonwine, 62, of Longmont died Friday, Dec. 31, 1993, at Longmont United Hospital. Mrs. Cantonwine was a certified nurse's assistant who retired in 1963 after working in several nursing homes in the Longmont, Boulder and Berthoud areas. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. Mrs. Cantonwine was born Nov. 17, 1931, in Alabama, the daughter of Fred Winnett and Ruth Osborn Winnett. She moved to Colorado in 1935 and married David Cantonwine, now deceased, in Longmont. She is survived by her mother, who now lives in Denver [d. 1995]. She also is survived by [three] son[s]. . . . Survivors include [two] brother[s] . . .
A son, Charles Cantonwine, and a sister, Evelyn Miller, preceded her in death. Mrs. Cantonwine had four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday Jan. 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Howe Mortuary Chapel, Longmont. Visitation will be Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and later, after the services. Interment will be at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
