Mr. Bradbury, 83, Apple Valley, died Tuesday at his home. He was born in Bear Creek Jan. 26, 1930.

He graduated from Bear Creek High School in 1948, and worked at General Motors Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City. the family moved to Southern California in 1955, and he worked for North American Rockwell during the Mercury and Apollo programs. He was a repair person before his retirement.

He married Billie Jo Kirkpatrick March 3, 1950, and they later divorced; and he married Janet Bishop, and they later divorced.

Survivors include his children, Ron Bradbury of Apple Valley, Calif., Sharon Seargeant of San Antonio, Kathy Reed of Lawrence, Kan., Ed Bradbury of Las Vegas, and Michael Bradbury of San Marcos, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Sally Bradbury; and two sisters, Juanita Hendricks and Ferrell Nightwine.

The family is planning a memorial service at Lindley Prairie Cemetery in July, 2014.
