IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – Mrs. Margaret M. Adams Hodson, 87, Idaho Falls, died Tuesday in an Idaho Falls hospital. She was admitted to the hospital Dec. 23, 1945, to receive treatment for a fractured right hip suffered when she slipped and fell in her home.
Mrs. Hodson was born Dec. 28, 1858, in Layton, Utah, a daughter of George W. and Mary Ann Adams. Mrs Hodson had resided in Utah until three years ago when she came to Idaho Falls to reside with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cook. Her husband, James Henry Hodson, died 13 years ago in Utah. She was an active member of the L.D. S. church.
Besides the daughter here, six sons and daughters survive, Rufus and Erby Hodson, Clearfield, Utah; Mrs. Bertha Bullock and Mrs. A. C. Hocking, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Frank Bennett, Kaysville, Utah; and George Hodson, Escondidio, Calif,; four brothers and sisters, Mrs. John Whiteside, Burley; Marian and Andrew (Andy) Adams and Mrs. Heber Carlos, Layton, Utah; also 34 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken to Kaysville, Utah, for funeral services and burial.
