Cecil Calvert Storms, Jr., 83, of Lamar, went to be with the Lord December 11, 2013. He was born January 18, 1930, in Hagarville, to the late Cecil Calvert Storms, Sr. and Cecile (Donaldson) Storms. He retired out of the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service, later he retired from the Lamar School District after 16 years as a school bus driver. Mr. Storms was a member of the American Legion, the Pittsburg Masonic Lodge #362, the Knoxville Masonic Lodge #370, Clarksville Chapter #49 Royal Arch Masons, the Russellville Council #76 Royal Select Masters Scottish Rite and Lamar Chapter #516 Order of the Eastern Star. He served as the District Deputy Grand Master and served his worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star for 15 years. He was a member of the Pittsburg Baptist Church.

Mr. Storms is survived by his wife, Karla Sue Storms of Lamar; a daughter, Gail Broyles and husband, Jonathon of Colorado; three brothers, Monroe Storms of Batesville, Jody Storms and wife, Thermadene, of Lamar and Edwin Storms and wife, Nancy, of Kiowa, Texas; a sister, Brenda Mays and husband, Dane, of Hartman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Joy Storms.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Storms' funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Milloway officiating. Burial will follow in Lamar Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Hickey, Timmy Storms, Levi Morrow, Teddy Morrow, Cody Morrow and Jody Storms.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dane Mayes, Jonathon Broyles, Josh Morrow, Knoxville Masonic Lodge #370 and Pittsburg Lodge #362.
