Sarah Ada Hixon married William B. Fredricey on the 11th of September, 1879 at Holton, Jackson Co., Kansas.

Sarah Adda Hixon was born in Putnam county, Indiana, June 30th 1858, and died in Holton, Kans., Jan. 17th, 1910.

She came with her parents to Holton in 1864. She was married to W. B. Fredricey Sept. 11, 1879. To this union nine children were born, four of whom preceded her to the spirit world. The remaining children are Mrs. Kate Fisher, of St. Joseph, Mo., Chas. 0 ., of North Platte, Nebr., Freeman, Jesse and Rhoda of Holton. She leaves two brothers, John S., of this city, and C. M. Hixon of Weiser, Idaho.

Those from a distance attending the funeral were Mrs. D. L. Lugton of Winfield, Kans., Mrs. Eucile Oakland and Mrs. J. C. Hardin, of St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Lou Seeley and Mrs. Mattie Dick, C. W. and W. M. Hixon of Topeka, and Dr. Chas. L. Hixon of Atchison.

Members of the A. 0. U. W. lodge no. 11 were pallbearers. Honorary pall bearers were ladies from Degree of Honor lodge No. 180.
