Rev. Jonathan Mansfield Brooks was the son of Azel and Eunice (Peck) Brooks. He was the husband of Betsey (Shurtleff) Brooks. Betsey died August 28, 1869. Rev. Brooks was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (now Western New York) Conference 1822 F 1825 Oneida Conference at organization 1829 Located 1832.
