Frank A. Arnold, 94, of Bristol died Friday night (Dec. 6, 2013) at his residence after a short illness surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Marion, Illinois to the late Lewis Franklin Arnold and Cora Jane Goodall Arnold.

Mr. Arnold joined the Army Air Corps at the young age of 17; he helped build CCC Camps for President Roosevelt's Administration. Later he was one of the original Frontier's Men in Alaska where he was an Air Surgeon's Assistant in the Medical Rescue for the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1960 as a Senior Master Sergeant after serving in World War II and the Korean War. After his first retirement he worked for McArthur Dairy in North Miami, FL as a Milk Carrier, Budweiser in their main warehouse and retired a second time as a Security Guard at the South Florida State Mental Institution.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Teresa LaVonne Edwards Arnold; one grandson, Lance Charles Perkins; two brothers, Irvin Edward Arnold and Charles Erskin Arnold; two sisters, Ethelene Sally Patrick and Lesta Louise Patrick.

Survivors include one brother, Ernest Arnold of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughters, Shirley Kay Furniss of Las Vegas, Nevada, Deborah Jean White of Mesa, AZ, Robin Lynnette Simpson of Bristol, GA, twin daughters, Jan Eileen Woodall of Orlando, FL, Jill Colleen Morgan of Hernando, MS; eight grandchildren, Teri Kay, Todd Allen, Staci Lei, Jonathan Justin, Brandee Nicole, G. Christopher, DeAnna Marie, Shannon Melissa; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private service will be conducted by the family.
