Funeral of Jacob Spory, Sr.
The funeral of Jacob Spory, Sr., who hanged himself in his barn near Connor Post Office, in Somerset County, on Friday evening, took place yesterday morning. The remains were taken from his late residence at 9:30 oclock to the St. James Lutheran Church, where Rev. Hutchinson, of Jennerstown, and Rev. J. N. Bracken, of this city, conducted the obsequies, after which interment was made in the church cemetery. There were about a hundred and twenty-five vehicles in the funeral procession.
