George Elvin Wade, 63, of Yakima, died Wednesday morning in Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Born November 30, 1921, in Mineral, Washington to Earl H. and Ella May (Wardell) Wade, Mr. Wade moved in 1927 to Yakima, where he was raised and educated, attending Yakima High School.

He married Margaret Rice on January 10, 1961, in Yakima.

Mr. Wade was an ordained minister and pastured the Washington Avenue Assembly of God Church for five years. He was employed by Prentice Packing and Storage Company as a foreman for several years. At the time of his death, he was the visitation pastor for the Christian Life Center, of which he was a member.

He enjoyed traveling, particularly to Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wade of Yakima; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Sharon) Coughlin of Kennewick, Mrs. Don (DeAun) Niles of Yakima, and Mrs. Ralph (Marcie) Eidsmoe of Brier, Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Marcella Kreher of Yakima, and Mrs. Juanita McDaniel of Yakima; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Christian Life Center, 716 North 40th Avenue. Internment will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the Christian Life Center.

Wade—Funeral services for the Reverend Mr. George Elvin Wade, 63 of Yakima, will be held Monday, June 17 at 11:00 A.M. at the Christian Life Center (716 North 40th Avenue) with Dr. David S. Bishop, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. The family suggests, if desired memorials may be made to the Christian Life Center. KEITH & KEITH FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.

Today we pay tribute to a man who has faithfully served on the staff of the Christian Life Center Church of God for the past 6 years.

Reverend George Elvin Wade has been instrumental in nurturing many new Christians in the Word of God and bringing them to a solid foundation in their faith. As long as his health would permit, he gave leadership to our Senior Adults and faithfully visited visitors and those in the hospital.

Although he has been ill for several years, he has maintained a triumphant faith in the Lord!

His beloved wife, Margaret, and the family invite you to celebrate his Coronation at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17th, at the Christian Life Center.

"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, said the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

George Elvin Wade, 63, of Yakima, died Wednesday morning in Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
