Alice Gail Mayer, 61, of Poteau, OK passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Fort Smith. AR. Alice was born July 2, 1952 in Grants, NM to Wilmer "Sam" & Drucille (Ritter) McBride. She worked as a Walmart Associate. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Vince DeGiusti & Earl "Skip" Mayer; brothers, Ray & Mackey McBride; sisters, Cynthia Holderfield & Neva Tackett.
Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, OK with Dewayne Vinson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, OK. Pallbearers will be Mark McBride, David Black, Daniel Black, Gerald Thompson, Chris Tackett, & Joey McBride. Honorary pallbearer will be Little John Heavener.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
