DR. A. M. SARVIS DIES SUDDENLY

Found in an unconscious condition on his bed in his room, Dr. A. M. Sarvis, 69, retired physician, died while being carried to Methodist Hospital Sunday morning. He lived at 211 West Colorado Street.

Justice of the Peace A. C. Flory held an inquest and gave the cause of his death as a heart attack. Dr. Sarvis had been a resident of Dallas for the last ten years and retired soon after coming here from Hedley, Donley County, where he had practiced for sixteen years.

Surviving are two sons, J. P. Sarvis and A. O. Sarvis of San Antonio; a brother, J. W. Sarvis of Texarkana; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Weiland Funeral Church. Dr. S. M. Black, pastor of the Tyler Street Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in New Oak Cliff Cemetery [Laurel Land Memorial Park].

Dr. Sarvis was a member of the State Medical Society and the Tyler Street Methodist Church.
