Hoyt James Strickland Sr. 81, of Seminole, passed away Dec. 4, 2013. Hoyt was born in Ware County, GA and retired as southeast regional director of the American National Insurance Company of Galveston TX. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Strickland, daughter, Debra Nell (Rex) Wilson; sons, Hoyt J. (Terri) Strickland, and Herbert A. Strickland; grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Hoyt was predeceased by his daughter, Vickie. He led a successful and interesting life and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, Dec. 9th at the David C. Gross Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, where friends will be received from 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Clearwater. David C. Gross FH
