Louise Baker Trussell Moreland, 99, of Grand Prairie, formerly of Arlington, Irving, Ruston, and Arcadia, Louisiana, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at a local care center. Born September 5, 1911 in Athens, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Jefferson Arvid Baker and Lizzie Bell Kilpatrick. She is the widow of Elmer Lee Trussell and Lonnie Moreland.

Survivors include daughters, Una Louise Hutchins and husband Clayton of Grand Prairie and Lyvonne Harper of Arlington; 6 grandchildren, Mark Bramlett, Kimberly Bramlett, Holly Hutchins, Gary Hutchins, Nicole Hutchins, and Kala Martinez; 8 great grandchildren, Cheyna, Cheyanne, Allison, Kelsey, Avery, Jon Cole, Austin, and Charlotte; two sisters Ione Byrd of Arcadia, LA and Janet Hall of Winter Park, Florida; nieces and nephews, Jackie James of Arcadia, LA, Greg Hall and Angie Hall, both of Winter Park, Florida and Terry Hall of Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, a sister Pauline Almond and nephew Charles Almond.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 10:00 Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Hurrican Cemetery.
