Andrew C. Cloudman, 72, Veteran Warren Mills Superintendent, Dies
Was Active in Fraternal Circles and Had Held City Offices

Westbrook, April 13 – Andrew C. Cloudman, 72, veteran superintendent of the S.D. Warren Paper Mills and prominent in fraternal circles, died at this home, 6 Newcomb Place, this evening after an illness of several months.

Mr. Cloudman had lived here 33 years and for 32 years had been employed at the mill. He was superintendent of the Electrolytic Department. He had served as secretary of the American Pulp and Paper Mills Superintendents Association several years and recently had been made an honorary life member of that organization.

He served as city marshal in 1898 and also was a former member of the Board of Alderman. He was charter member and a trustee of the Westbrook Kiwan’s Club, a past commander of the Wade Camp, Sons of Union Veterans, a former president of the Fifth Maine Regimental Association, a member of Warren Phillipe Lodge, F. of A.M., and and honorary member of the Presumpscot Hose Company.

Mr. Cloudman was born at Windham, son of the late Frank H. and Ann E. Dodge Cloudman.

He attended the Warren Congregational Church.

His is survived by his widow, Mrs. Margaret B. Cloudman; a brother, Frank H. Cloudman; a son, F. Harold Cloudman; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dolina M. Cloudman; and three grandchildren, F. Harold, Jr., S. Donabeth and Anne E. Cloudman.
