She left Jacksonville, she held positions in St. Louis, Missouri; Flagstaff, Arizona; and Los Angeles, California. From 1919 to 1944, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C.
Surviving her were four brothers: William Killam Gibbs, Leland Evertt Gibbs, Ellsworth Chase Gibbs, and Wayne Fulton Gibbs. And one sister: Mrs. Harriet Ticer.
