She was born Feb. 25, 1903, at Gifford, Idaho, to Elra Lee and Elsie Marlatt Spivy.
She attended school at Gifford, and later lived at Agatha, Idaho. She returned to Gifford and lived there for a time before moving to Pullman.
She married Dan White in 1923. They were later divorced.
In 1936 she moved to Spokane, where she received a beautician license from Morse Beauty School in 1937.
That year she married John Karlberg, and the couple were divorced some time later.
She moved to Kamiah in 1937, then to Moscow. She moved to Lewiston in 1942.
She operated a beauty salon in Lewiston until 1949, when she returned to Kamiah. Two years later she returned to Lewiston.
She married James Anders in 1952. He died in 1962.
She married Leo White in 1967. The couple were later divorced.
She operated a beauty salon in Lewiston until officially retiring in 1971, and continued to fix some of her clients' hair until she was 80.
She was a former member of the Eagles Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, crocheting, knitting crafts and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Glen White of Clarkston and Ron Karlberg of Lewiston; a daughter, Luella Heasley of Lewiston; two brothers, Lawrence Spivy and Milo Spivy, both of Kamiah; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A son, Arlo L. White, a brother, Wilburn Spivy, and a sister, Edna Callies, died previously.
Visitation hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel in Lewiston.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston, with her grandson, the Rev. Barry Heasley of Lewiston, officiating.
