Private graveside services for Mrs. Frances du Menil, 68, of Kerrville who died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, in a local hospital were held Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, at the Garden of Memories cemetery with Father Douglas Fater officiating. Mrs. du Menil was born June 22, 1930, in Kyle, Texas, to Alvin and Ollie Mae McMullin. She married Gus du Menil on November 1, 1947, in Lockhard, Texas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville. She is survived by her husband Gus du Menil of Kerrville; a daughter, Debbie du Menil of Kerrville; two sisters, Helen Beauford of Carlsbad, N.M.; Billie Boterf of Yoakum, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents of San Marcos. Overby Funeral Home of Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
