Mary was born on November 28th, 1821 in Georgia, and died after 1880, probably in Hog Mountain, Gwinnett, Georgia. She was the daughter of Lewis Arthur and Nancy Harsfield, and wife of William Franklin "Frank" Glosson.

No record remains of her burial; a fire in the church destroyed all records of "section A." No marker remains.

Family has stated "Frank and Mary Glosson are buried next to the grave of "Sonny" Adams, the son of Henry H. and Ollie 0. Adams, at Zion Hill Cemetery near Buford, Georgia. Their graves are located at the foot of the Brown family cemetery lot, facing away from the Brown family lot, the left grave is Johnny Adams, the middle grave is "Dickie" Adams, the right grave is Sonny Adams. Frank and Mary's graves are located to the right of Sonny's grave."
