He was employed at the old Pope Bicycle Works and later as a bleacher and dyer at Roulette's Mill. He retired 25 years ago. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, he was also the oldest member of the First Hose Fire Company.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Kerr, Easton, Md., and a son, Ross L. Wolfe, Hagerstown.
Funeral services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
