Memorial services for Preston Roberts; 84, of Kerrville, Texas, will be held at 2:15 P.M., Friday, July 19,; 1996, at SL Luke's Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas. He passed away Sunday, July 14, 1996, in Kerrville. Preston was born November 15, 1912. He was formerly a resident of Angleton and a rice farmer and rancher in Brazoria County for many years. He was a former member of Angleton Lodge AF&AM #829 and served on the Angleton School Board in the 50's. He and his wife retired to the Hill Country in the 70's. He is preceded in death by his parents, Geno and Helen Roberts. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Inez Chesser Roberts; 4 daughters, Sharon Gaye and husband, Holman Gregory, Charlotte Faye.and husband, Tommy Daniels of Houston, Laurie and husband, Kenneth Graham of Kerrville and Shelly and husband, Rick Swinghamer of Dallas; 9 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Roland Jack Roberts and wife, Lorraine of Angleton; and sister, Hazel and husband, Tim Farrell of Houston. Memorials may be made to SL Luke's Methodist Church or Parkinson Foundation. Arrangements by Kerrville Funeral Home in Kerrville.
