Word was received here today of the death in Minneapolis of Willard E. Doty, 63, former Sioux Falls resident and branch manager for Bridgeman Russell company. Death came as the result of injuries sustained in a fall about 18 months ago.
Mr. Doty was an active Shriner and Elks club member while in Sioux Falls. He left this city over six years ago, was stationed for a time at Bismarck, N. D., and later at Duluth. It was at the latter place he received the injury which resulted in his death.
Masonic committal rites will be conducted at Minneapolis. He leaves his wife and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Charles Thomas, 835 South Main ave., and Mrs. Gilbert Cottam, Minneapolis.
