Mrs. Wm. Lindsey, aged 74 years, mother of C. C. Lindsey of this city, died at her home in Wolf Lake Sunday, following a several weeks' illness from gall stones. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church in Grand Tower at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday and interment was made in the Grand Tower cemetery.
Besides her husband the deceased leaves five children, C. C. Lindsey of Carbondale; Albert Lindsey, Mrs. Pearl Kimmel, Mrs. Norma Kimmel and Mrs. Mina Trainer, all of Wolf Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 3, at which time all their children and grandchildren were present.
