Mrs. Owsley died Friday at the Garfield Memorial hospital after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Owsley was born on April 9, 1862, at Esterville, Iowa, the daughter of Luther and Betsy Stimson, In 1879, at Dayton, Wash., she was married to Thornton Owsley, who died a number of years ago.
Mrs. Owsley was a member of the Adventist church and the Mother's club of Vancouver, Wash.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Bess Kuykendall of Vancouver, Wash., Mrs. Sidney Williams of Ventura, Calif., Mrs. Vera Roff, Walla Walla, Wash., Mrs. Faye Strohm, St. John, Wash., and Mrs. Doris Hoxie, Nampa, Idaho; one son, John B. Owsley of Liberty Lake, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Peasoll, Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Effie Eaves, Manchester, Wash.; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren."
