Died after a brief illness. Preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; and her first husband, Larry Thompson. She then married C.M. Simmons in May of 1989; he died March 10, 2012. Survived by a brother; her daughter and son-in-law; stepson and wife; stepdaughter and her husband; seven grandchildren. Graveside Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Rose Hill Burial Park.
