CLAY CENTER - Mrs. Margaret Cook, 77, Clay Center, died Tuesday in a hospital here. She was born Sept. 17, 1895 in Clay county. She spent many years in Clay Center and owned and operated Margaret's Beauty Shop at Clay Center before she retired.
Her husband, Morrill Cook, died in April of 1940. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Janice Rankin, Lawrence; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ethel Christensen, Auburn, Kan., Mrs. Flora Slade, Eureka, and Mrs. jean Reboul, Clay Center; a brother, Bill White, Clay Center; and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home at Clay Center with burial in Greenwood Cemetery at Clay Center.
