Richard Henry Freiburghouse and Celia Katherine Werner were united in marriage in June of 1918 in Wyandotte County, Kansas. They became parents to two sons, John Richard and Edward Werner Freiburghouse. Dr. Richard Henry Freiburghouse passed away Saturday morning at Providence Hospital. Dick, as he was known to his Hiawatha friends, was the youngest son of Margaret and Edward Freiburghouse. He had been sick only a few days from a boil over his eye which became infected and blood poison followed.
He left his wife, Cecilia, and two small boys of the home in Kansas City, Kan.; his parents; brothers, Edward William of New York and Ira Samuel of Hiawatha, Kas., and sisters, Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Chandler of Santa Ana, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller of Sabetha and Mildred Mamie Freiburghouse of Hiawatha. The Funeral Mass was celebrated from St. Peter's Catholic Church.
