Following an extended illness, with complications followed by a stroke of paralysis, Mrs. Amanda ODaffer passed away, at the home of her son south of Weldon, early Sunday morning.

Mrs. ODaffer was born in Pickaway County, Ohio, eighty two years ago.

She moved to this county forty years ago where she has since made her home-She was a woman with a large number of friends and her death brought sincere regret to many.

She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was faithful to its teachings.

She was survived by the following children: Lem, John, Edward, Will and Joe.
