Edward Ray Harris, Eddie, 29, of Rt 4, Elizabethtown, died Wednesday night, November 7, 1979 near Hodgenville.

Mr. Harris, Kentucky State Policeman was a native of Hodgenville.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Meredith Harris; two sons, Theran and Brandon; one daughter, Bobbie Joe; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Harris of Hodgenville; a brother, LeRoy Harris of Chicago and two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Raikes, Hodgenville, and Mrs. Mitchell Cruse, Magnolia.

The funeral took place Saturday at First Baptist Church of Hodgenville, with Rec. Isaac McDonald officiating. Interment was at Red Hill Cemetery, Hodgenville.

Brownfield Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
