Douglas now boasts of a cash poultry house, the business being conducted by D. M. Diener and I. S. Walker, who buy all kinds of country produce paying the highest market prices in cash. This is a valuable acquisition to our town and fills the demand that has long been made by the farmers of the surrounding country.

CHURCH NOTES

The Christian Endeavor lesson on Sunday evening was led by Joseph Brannen. The lesson topic was: "Great Men and Their Influence." It was a fine lesson. The "triple wedding" as announced, proved to be installation of the six officers for the coming year.

Rev. Davis preached two fine sermons Sunday morning and evening. He was entertained at the Burton home.

A bunch of C. E. members, followed the Diener family home after services Sunday evening and serenaded them as that was the last Sunday they expect to be here.
