Lloyd L. Wallace Dies Tuesday
Lloyd L. Wallace, 62, of 906 Georgia Street passed away early Tuesday morning at the Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, Noblesville. He had been ill for two months.
The deceased was born June 9, 1915 in Hamilton County, the son of Joseph Vance and Lula (Helfer) Wallace. He attended school at Fishers and Center schools. He married Mary Catherine Hines on December 24, 1937 at Columbia City. She survives. Mr. Wallace had been employed with Dodd Electric, Indianapolis for one year as an electrician. He worked at Ashpaugh Electric, Westfield, several years.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Peggy) Robinson of Kirklin and Mrs. Jesse (Cathy) Stowe of Indianapolis; three sons, Vance and Keith, both of Sheridan and James of Arcadia; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Marion and Earl Wallace of Sheridan and three sisters, Mrs. Ruthanne Mead of Frankfort, Mrs. Retha Lee of Cicero and Mrs. Mary Lou Endres of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm today (Thursday) at the Kercheval Funeral Home with the Reb. Jesse Griffith and the Rev. Steve Morris officiating. Burial will be in Crown View Cemetery.
