Robert Franklin "Bob" Hatridge, Jr., 81, of Atoka, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, in McAlester. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Brother Craig Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Harpers Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service. He was born Friday, July 29, 1932, to Robert and MayBelle (Nichols) Hatridge at Harpers Valley. He graduated from Kiowa High School and attended Eastern Oklahoma A&M College in Wilburton. He was a master electrician and served his country in the Korean War. He married Ola Mae (Kanimaya) Hatridge on May 9, 1953, in McAlester. He attended Harpers Valley Baptist Church, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, bass fishing, drag racing, NASCAR racing and football. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Adams, Tammy Hatridge and Kim Spencer, all of Atoka; grandchildren, Robby Murphy, of Carrollton, Texas, Suzzette Spencer, of McKinney, Texas, Kaisha Murphy, of Carrollton, Texas, Derek Spencer, of Bedford, Texas, Tommy Spencer, of Atoka, and Sean Spencer, of Euless, Texas; siblings, Pete Hatridge, and wife, Nancy, of Harper Valley, Roger Hatridge, and wife, Boots, of Kiowa, Phil Hatridge, and wife, Paula, of Harpers Valley, Gary Hatridge, and wife, Linda of Harper Valley, Victor Hatridge, and wife, Shelly, of Nashville, Tenn., Janis Rollings, of Midway City, Macy Carnike, of Harpers Valley, and Betty Faye Hampton, of Mesa, Ariz.; uncle, Gerald Patton, and wife, Sherrill, of Lubbock, Texas; mother of his children, Ola Mae Hatridge, of McAlester; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and MayBelle (Nichols) Hatridge. Pallbearers will be Robby Murphy, Derek Spencer, Tommy Spencer and Sean Spencer.
