Blair Bratton, who was employed in the yard of the Philadelphia and Erie railroad at Renovo, was killed Wednesday May 15 while in the discharge of his duties, but particulars are no yet known here. He was the son of the late Henry Bratton, of this community and brother of Mrs. B. F. Cox, of Northwood. Two other sisters and two brothers survive also, viz: John Bratton and Mrs. J. K. Herrington, of Osceola Mills; Perry Bratton, of Bradford, and Mrs. William Getz, of Renovo, all residents of this community at an earlier day. The unfortunate man was 46 years old and leaves a wife and six or seven children. He was buried at Lock Haven.
