He was survived by his wife, Roberta S. Perley of Hampden, Maine; two sons, Allen I. Perley and Robert A. Perley, both of Hampden; aunts, uncles and cousins; one niece and one nephew.
Fred C. Perley had graduated with the Class of 1959, Old Saybrook High School, Old Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut, after which he returned to the area of Maine where he had been born and spent his early years.
