Fred C. Perley died at the age of 39 at a hospital in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine as the result of an automobile accident. He was the son of Ivian and A. Margaret Frisk Perley.
He was employed as a driver for area trucking companies and was a member of the Penobscot Salmon Club.
He was survived by his wife, Roberta S. Perley of Hampden, Maine; two sons, Allen I. Perley and Robert A. Perley, both of Hampden; aunts, uncles and cousins; one niece and one nephew.
Fred C. Perley had graduated with the Class of 1959, Old Saybrook High School, Old Saybrook, Middlesex County, Connecticut, after which he returned to the area of Maine where he had been born and spent his early years.
