Ruth was born July 1, 1927, in Box Springs, GA to Stephen David and Vera Rogers Sizemore. She was a devoted member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist church and Box Springs Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a beloved member of the community and a joy and blessing to all that knew her.
Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one son Lee Johnson and one brother Bobby David Sizemore. She is survived by her Husband of 66 years Victor L. Johnson Sr., two daughters; Elaine Berry(Doug), and Cheryl Mathis, three sons; Ken Johnson(Marlene), Brett Johnson(Mary Jane), and Eric Johnson(Stephanie), three sisters; twin sister Esther Johnson, Margie Jasper(John), and Myrtle Aderhold, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 30,2013 1:00-2:00 pm, with A Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA, followed by a committal service at Parkhill Cemetery. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/ledger-enquirer/obituary.
