Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother, and spent her 83 years with several lifetimes worth of experience and for that, we are all grateful.
Much of her life was by the side of her husband, the late pro wrestler, the 'original' Sheik, and that meant world traveling. She spent time in the ring as her husbands valet, Princes Salima, until she became pregnant with her first son, Eddie.
Joyce is survived by her sons Eddie and Tom Farhat; grand children Jennifer Farhat, Ed Farhat III, Susie Cox; and four great grand children Ranae, Joey, Mollie and Kelli; and a nephew Terry "Sabu" Brunk.
Joyce is now in that great circle in the sky with the love of her life, the Sheik, and her parents Ellen and Francis Fleser.
Visitation was December 5 2013, from 2-4 and again from 6-8 with the Rosary recited at 7:30PM at the Gorshine-Runciman Funeral Home, Middle Street in Williamston. A Memorial Mass was celebrated December 6 2013, 11AM, at St. Mary Catholic Church on High Street in Williamston.
