COLUMBIA, La., May 29 (Special — Mrs. Linnie Kinnison of Clarks, took her life with a 22 calibar [sic caliber] rifle yesterday. According to Caldwell Parish Coroner Dr. E. L. Carroll.

When Mrs. Kinnison's husband, A. M. Kinnison, arrived home for lunch yesterday at noon, he found his wife in a chair in the bed room, shot through the heart. The 22 caliber rifle lay on the floor beside her. Dr. Carrol[l], Caldwell Parish coroner, stated that the woman had died of a self-inflicted shot about 10 a.m.

A note left by the deceased told only how to contact her children. Mrs. Kinnison was reported to have been "very despondent" during the past few weeks.

The exact time and place of funeral services have not been set. Interment will be at Welcome Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.

Mrs. Kinnison is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtice Honeycutt, Jena; two sons, Jimmie Kinnison, Clarks, and Elmer Kinnison, Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Ona Davis and Mrs. Corn [sic Cora] Pace, both of Olla, and three grandchildren.
