Dorothy E. Beistline, 78, of Lower Paxton Twp., passed away November 26, 2013, at Colonial Park Care Center with her loving husband by her side.
Born February 7, 1935, in Harrisburg, she was daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Wentz) Sharretts.
She attended Hershey Free Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Richard L. Beistline; two sons, Richard A. Beistline and David A. Beistline and his wife, Michaele; two sisters, Janet Bates and Mary Sharretts; and two granddaughters, Holly and Heather Beistline; all of Harrisburg.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, 12:00 noon, at Susquehanna Valley Free Church, 6433 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the church. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy's family requests donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 2595 Interstate Drive, Ste. 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
