"PERRY T. SERGEANT
Funeral services were held at 2:30 this afternoon for Perry T. Sergeant, well-known pioneer resident of the Big Bend district and a direct descendant of Zachary Taylor, president of the United States. At the time of his death he resided at E1702 First, where he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Clara Sergeant. Funeral services were held from Hazen & Jaeger's, the Rev. W. E. Adams officiating. Burial was at Riverside."
