P.R. Carpenter
LONDON - P.R. Carpenter, 82, a resident of Charleston Health Care Center, Danville, formerly of London, died Saturday at the nursing home.
Born August 18, 1911, in Jackson County, he was a son of the late Ples and Nancy Jane Lewis Carpenter. A retired carpenter, he was the widower of Edna Price Carpenter.
Survivors include two daughters, Nadene Owens of Danville and Marlene Eggers of Independence; a sister, Eliza Baldwin of Hamilton, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
The funeral was held today at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel in London by the Rev. Ernest Martin. Burial was in the A.R. Dyche Cemetery.
