He was the son of Charles and Marie (McDonald) Boice. His wife, Barbara Jean Boice, preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Rodney, Arkadelphia; a daughter, Lyndia Fentress, Charlotte, NC; two sisters: Laurel Lee Boice and Karen Jean Boice, both Ohio; five grandchildren: Bobbi Lynn Boice, Joshua Charles Boice, Sara Jean Boice, Jonathan Fentress and Jami Fentress; and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers; and three sisters.
He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Masonic Lodge #381 and American Legion. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans and he was a motorcycle enthusiast.
A memorial service will be at Welch Funeral Home, with Bro. Marvin Pate officiating.
