Elinor A. Wellheuser Abolt, 96, of rural Veedersburg, Indiana, passed away at 5:35 p.m. EST Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at The Waters of Covington.
She was born March 19, 1917 near Stone Bluff, Indiana, the daughter of Matthew and Connie Babb Wellheuser. She married Marvin D. Abolt on Oct. 24, 1942 in Veedersburg. He preceded her in death in 1986. She also is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert L. Wellheuser in 1996.
Surviving are a daughter, Beverly A. (John) Rennison; a twin sister, Patricia E. Boord; a brother, John "Jack" Wellheuser; a granddaughter, Amy J. (Bryan) Delp and two great-grandchildren, Christopher J Delp and Henry L. Delp.
She graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1935 and was employed over the years at the Stone Bluff Telephone Office and the Veedersburg News Office.
