Gladys J. (Christopher) Snyder, age 84, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in Uniontown Hospital with her loving family at her side.
She was born June 10, 1929 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of John Christopher and Idora (Meese) Christopher.
Gladys retired after thirty years as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Laurel Ridge Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her son, Brian Snyder; her great-grandson, Dominic Karol; and her brothers, Ernest, Jesse and Robert Christopher.
She is survived by her children: Donna Mitchell and husband Charles of Smithfield, Pa., David Snyder and wife Kathy of Winter Haven, Florida, Scott Snyder, Uniontown; her grandchildren: Edward Karol, Damian Frey, Brianna Snyder, M a r r i s s a E i c h e r, Chuckie Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell and Ashley Hill; her great grandchild, Jayce Eicher; and her sister, Patricia Endsley of Hiller, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Thursday, November 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Friday, November 22, 2013 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Roland M. O'Brien officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
