WARD, MRS. VERA MAYE - age 91, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002. Mrs. Ward was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Harriman and was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Delcy and Myrtle Stanley Sherrod; 1st husband, Clarence M. Langford; 2nd husband, J. Roby Ward; beloved nephew, Paul Pearson, Jr.; brothers, Ted Sherrod, Henry Callie Sherrod, William Curtis Sherrod and Clifton Delcy Sherrod; sister, Evie Rebecca Sherrod. Survived by sisters, Joyce S. Pearson, Knoxville and Maxine Martin, Houston, Texas; also many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:15 p.m. Saturday March 30 at Asbury Acres Chapel, Maryville.
