VEST Kenneth Earl Vest, 64 went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2008, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a 100% Vietnam Era disabled veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Over a 10 year time span he served as a Medical Foster Father of 70 children. Kenneth died just as he lived Éa Christian. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years; Neva J. Vest, father; Mr. Floyd Cecil Vest whom is predeceased and mother; Mary Downs Vest, brother; Ronald (Fay) Vest, Richard Vest and Reginald Vest, sister; Hazel Patricia Barnes whom is predeceased, nephews; Thomas Barnes, Richard Barnes, niece; Tina (Randy) Lourcey, aunt; Betty Belton, uncle; James Downs and numerous grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2008 at 6:00PM - 8:00PM located at Hardage - Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Town & Country. Reverend Richard Engel officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace Lutheran School. Interment will immediately follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Hardage - Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home is serving the Vest Family.
