Margaret Elizabeth Clute, 87, of Hayward passed away Nov. 19, 2013 at Sunset Senior Home in Hayward.

Margaret was born March 15, 1926 to the late Emery and Rosa (Pekrul) Turnbull.

She loved looking out her windows at Mirror Lake, a home that her and her husband built together. Margaret always put everyone ahead of herself, she would help anyone with her last dollar if they needed it. Margaret made the best toast ever, all the grandkids came over as often as possible for gram to make them toast. (That's all she ever had.)

Survivors include one son, Roderick Clute of Hayward; three grandchildren, Dustin Clute, Dennis Metzger and Scott Laakson; and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Buhs, five brothers and three sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home of Hayward, with Pastor Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home of Hayward is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.andersonnathan.com.
