ROBBINSDALE — Corwin J. Anderson, 83, of Robbinsdale, formerly of Fairfax and Spicer, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 23 at Swedlanda Lutheran Church, Palmyra Township, Renville County. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in Bandon Township, Renville County, with full military rites by the Fairfax Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, May 22 and 7:30 – 8 a.m., Friday, May 23 at Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Friday.
Corwin John Anderson was born on Oct. 24, 1924, in Bandon Township, Renville County, Minn. to Emil C. and Albertina (Anderson) Anderson.
He is survived by his children, Naomi Farr of Fla., Jayson Anderson of MN, Kim Anderson of MN, and Jennifer Sieps of Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sisters, Francis Coffin, Pauline Boyum, and Ruth Anderson.
