Eleanor L. Glidden, 68, of Saw Mill Road, died yesterday at Roger Williams Hospital.
She was the wife of James S. Glidden Jr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Frank and Vera (Taft) Howard, she lived in North Scituate for most of her life.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Harmony Fire Department, and the Hearth Side Bowling League.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, a daughter, a brother, four sisters and six grandchildren.
