Erna Haufler Services were held Friday for Mrs. William (Erna) Haufler, 79, who passed away in a Kerrville Hospital Wednesday. Rev. David Stringer officiated at services in the First Presbyterian Church and interment followed in the Garden of Memories. She was preceded in death by her husband, who was manager of the grocery department at Schreiners for many years. She also worked for the firm before her retirement. She is survived by three brothers, Louis Biermann of Brady, Benno Biermann of San Antonio and Kurt Biermann of Comfort, and three sisters, Mrs. Selma Harbort of Fredericksburg, and Mrs. Edna Murphy and Mrs. Adelheid Heinen, both of Comfort. Schaetter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
